We welcome an energic au pair with lots of initative to help in our busy house. We live in KEW and offer our aupair separate self contained accommodation

The hours are early morning 5 days per week, plus extra on Fridays, plus some babysitting in the evenings, but no weekend work - you are free to enjoy beautiful Melbourne. About 20-25 per week.

The position includes helping with the children get ready for school, housework, tidying up, washing, some cooking & generally helping out the Mum of the house. I will email you a position description if you are interested. Children attend school, kinder and creche' during the day, so you are then free to have another job or do an English course, as there is only 15-20 hours work there will be time off for travel.

No driving is required & we have public transport only 20m from the front door! We are not far from the city (suburb is called Kew) & there are shops, gym and cafes nearby.

We seek a friendly and flexible person, with initiative wanting to study or just experience our city. You must genuinely enjoy spending time with children. A compulsory part of the position is to speak French to the 2 younger children 100% of the time. You will get plenty of practice with English as the Mum and Dad don't speak French. We don't mind if your English is not so good - we will help you!

A native French speaker is essential because the children are learning French.
