How Do I start? (Archived)

Hi everyone,

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum but I need some help. Me and my friend are planning to go travelling around Australia when we both finish college and was wondering if anyone could tell me how we would get started? Such as finding the right hostels to stay in and maybe if anyone knows of any campsites where you work there and you get accomodation with it? I know they have those types of campsites where you work with children in America, but are there any like that in Australia?

Hey holly my names steve, my friend and i are kinda in the same situation as you, we finish college this year and we have booked our tickets to melbourne for the 15th of september. We are planning to start there and work our way up the east coast maybe paying a visit to western aussie on the later part of our journey. We yet have a place to stay when we get there but we are planning to stay in hostels and iv found some lovely ones on the internet close to us. We plan on just getting part time jobs and basically enjoy every minute of our freedom. id love to here how you get on. keep in touch
