Okay,
So I know this is a travel forum, but I'm planning on moving to Australia within a year, give or take a month or two. I was wondering if there's anyone out there (who has moved to Australia) could give me any tips or advice in terms of Visa's etc. to make the transition smoother. Or any tips on saftey/ things I should know about.
I'm coming down from Canada, so obviously the change in scenary, temperature, types of animals will be drastic. Not only that but this will be the first time moving out to begin with. Any help revolving around moving to Australia will be greatly appreciated!!

1).
Where are you moving from and where to?
I'm in the process of moving to Australia from Van.BC.Canada.
If you haven't already been given the process I might be able to help.
For starters, do you have an Australian Visa? If not that is the first step.

Did you ever move to Australia? I am thinking of moving - its a dream of mine and my daughter. Was the transition hard - what part did you move to and why did you decide there. I am having trouble deciding what area to move to. I eventually want to visit it all but where to settle and what about work - are jobs plentiful?
Thx

Hello Bruce,
Are you currently living in Australia? What area did you move to and are you working there?
How long did it take the process - I heard cost of living is expensive. I hope to hear from you.
Thx
