Going to the beach was an awesome holiday for me when we were kids and being that i lived in a small rural town i was not very familiar with the sea life. so when my father told me that blue bottles eat you I had no reason not to believe him and it kept us away from them, Then came the time I was 21 years old and I had moved to queensland with my boyfriend at the time, And he was getting ready to go to the beach with some friends that we were with at the time, I casually said to him " watch out for the blue bottles as they can eat you. and then once every one had stopped laughing at me they left for the beach and didnt let me live it down for years
