SHOPPING IN BRASIL

Our first trip overseas, how difficult can it be, after all, we are the Big 5 from Africa, South Africa! People use to tell us that their is always one in the group, while you were traveling that can be called the black sheep, everything that can or will go wrong, happened to that one person!

Mike my husband was the lucky one. When we landed on San Paulo, his luggage was gone. With only his tracksuit on his body we left - they will contact us as soon as they find it and they will call. We took the bus to Rio (in his tracksuit) Rio is warm.

With arrival we unpacked, and went to the shops before they closed.

Unfortunately for my husband, the people in Rio is relatively smaller build , Mike is 6 feet something and 130kg? Needless to say, nothing fits, in one shop he tried on some pants - and cut his knee so badly on a losse standing mirror(in trying to get into the pants), that the shop owner rushed us to hospital.

With only a few hours in Rio, my husband was only in his underpants (his pants was still in the shop!) and have had 20 stitches on his knee!

This was our best overseas trip ever, and we have the scar to remind us of one unforgetable experiences. This time in Paris it was my turn to be the black sheep...
