trip to new Zealand

Last Year my Husband and I went to NZ.On a 14 day coach tour. It was the first time that we had been out of Australia. so we needed to get passports. We got the things that we needed and sent them away to get them ready. But a week before we were to leave on the trip. the phone rang, it was the passport company, telling my Husband that his name was wrong, and he would have to change it, before we left. So we had to start over again, then get to Canberra before we left to pick up the new passport.

We arrived at the Sydney airport to catch the plane out of Sydney, to Christchurch, were we to meet the other people that were on the tour. Get through customs fine. Then got on the plane. But when we got to Christchurch, and before we got off the plane, a notice can over the load speaker asking if a Mr Jones was on the plane, for he had left his passport at the Sydney airport, and can he go to the customs please. We got the problem sorted, but when we went to meet the other people on the tour, they were all talking about the silly person that left his passport in Sydney, and if he was to return home.

When the other people found out that it was my husband, they all had a laugh and then started to call him passport.

This became funny over the tour trip, as it was my husband that was always late to get on the bus, when we were due to leave anywhere, and people would say to him, what did you leave behind this time. We really did have a great trip to New Zealand, and we made lots of friends that we still keep in contact with a year later. But I think it will be a long time until I get my husband to travel over seas again.

It is the funniest experience that I have ever heard. As you may know, I am a chinese girl, that I should always be careful, otherwise I would be shouted at.
