ACCESSORIES FOR MY CARAVAN

Im embarking on a year long caravan adventure in May and am looking for any suggestions for caravan accessories that might make my journey more comfortable/practical. . .

You may like to consider a weight distribution hitch to make towing a bit safer. I also prefer to use electric brakes when towing.

I suggest you get hold of a quality plastic jerrycan, the type that is used by the military is the best as it has two screw type lids and allows water to flow under control. These can be got at any decent camping shop for about 25 bucks.

Fill it with rain water as most of the water in the inland and some coastal regions is crap. A lot of caravan parks have rain water tanks for use by travellers.

You will find that you tea/coffee/grog tastes much better. Also a litle bit rinses through ones hair at the completion of a hair wash takes away that salty feeling.
