Moving to Sydney from Canada for a few months...

Hey guys!
So I know that there is certain stuff I need in order to come to Aussie... things like a TFN (tax file number), and a working visa. When is a good time to apply for these things? And is it true that you have to book a round trip to aussie? I was hoping to just book a one way ticket but heard that you couldn't do this! If there is any tips or advice I would love to hear them!

I have heard that you can get into Australia on a one way ticket so long as you can show evidence that you have sufficient funds to purchase a ticket out of Australia. This I believe is the case with a a working holiday visa.

If you are concerned you can always buy a ticket that allows for amendments to your departure dates. Singapore Airlines often allow you to alter departure dates but check before booking.

You need to apply for a working holiday visa before entering Australia. A TFN (Tax File Number) can be obtained easily once you arrive so long as you have work rights.
