Maiden Caravan Voyage

I am thinking about setting off on my first caravan holiday soon. Can any seasoned caravan owners please offer me some hints for my first trip away?

Firstly, I would suggest making your first couple of journeys fairly local to iron out any problems and get used to towing your caravan.

Not too long ago, my husband and I bought a van. Our first trip was 2 days at a rural area only 1.5 hours away from home. We decided beforehand to only use what we had and not 'duck up to the shop'so we knew what we had too much of & vice versa. For us, this was a good plan, and I would not consider a longer trip without having done this first. First aid kit and extra water are essentials; It is pretty certain you will not starve, and most other deficits are no big deal.Just chill, have fun, and learn to spend 24/7 with your chosen partner. What a wonderful opportunity!
