Kawana Waters is one of the fastest growing residential areas in Queensland. It is in the Sunshine Coast and is located 97 kilometres from the state capital, Brisbane.
This picturesque area has a lot to offer. There are beautiful surfing beaches with patrolled beaches at Buddina and Wurtulla (from September to April only), excellent fishing conditions, various sporting facilities, shopping centres, a marina, hotels and motels. Industries include clothing and furniture manufacturers, boat builders and building supplies.
The man-made waterway of Lake Kawana has become popular with a number of sports including kayaking, canoeing, outrigging, dragon boat racing and motorised boats.
