Marrawah

A surfer's idea of heaven when the waves are pumping, Marrawah is on Tasmania's remote and rugged far northwest coast. It is located 491 kilometres northwest of Hobart and 292 kilometres northwest of Launceston.

The town is the most westerly settlement on the island. There are plenty of amazing coastal walks, good fishing spots and opportunities to find highly-prized abalone shellfish on the rocks.

The Aboriginal sites in the area are of major importance they include Mt Cameron West and Sundown Point.
