Marvel Loch is located five and a half hours' drive east of Perth in the state of Western Australia, Australia. It is located 32 kilometres south west of Southern Cross, along the Perth to Kalgoorlie Great Eastern Highway.
Marvel Loch is named after a racehorse that won the Caulfield Cup in 1905, Marvel Loch was originally a gold mining town.
Gold was discovered in the area in 1906 following gold mining leases being issued to Markham, Doolette, Leneberg and Le Breton.
