If you head out of the city you can see amazing views of the city and surrounding areas. For great views visit Kings Park, and its Botanic Gardens. You can see a range of bushland, and Western Australian plants and wildflowers during spring. The park is a great place to walk and cycle, and also offers guided walks.

There are a range of things to do in Perth's
suburbs, among its many wildlife and adventure parks, and vineyards.
The adventure parks include Adventure World and Bungee in Briba
Lake, and Cable Water Park in Spearwood.
Heading North of the city you'll come to Wembley
where you can relax with the swans around Lake Monger. Perth's
aquarium is Underwater World with plenty to keep you occupied.
If you'd prefer to be above ground visit the Australian animals
at Caversham Wildlife Park in West Swan. Alternatively, to buy
Australian produce and see shows, go to Tumbulgum Farm in Armadale.
Several vineyards are scattered along the river in Swan Valley,
which offer tasting and sales.
Another popular place to visit from Perth is
Mundaring, set within the beautiful Darling Range. There are plenty
of walking trails in the Darling Range around the pretty Lake
Leschenaultia and the John Forest National Park. You can also
visit the wonderful Araluen Botanic Garden, which offers some
excellent floral senery and waterfalls.
If you don't have your own transport many companies
offer tours to the various parks and wineries. Other tour companies
offer travel to Perth's surrounding lakes and national parks. You can also head further
afield to the Pinnacles and Wave Rock. There are also several
cruises to watch the whales and dolphins.
