Transperth is Perth's transport service including buses, trains and ferries. You can get information during the week in the bus and train stations and during the weekend at the Plaza Arcade. Alternatively call Ph: 13 6213. Travel in the city between causeway, Kings Park, Northbridge and the river is free. Transperth buses also run between 5.30am - 10.00pm from the airport to the centre. Once in the city you can travel around for free on the CAT buses. The Red CAT runs from West to East, and the Blue CAT runs from North to South. Both services run between 7.00am - 6.00pm during the week, with a similar service by the Blue CAT during the weekend.

On other buses in and around the city the prices vary depending upon the zone you are travelling within. As well as single tickets you can purchase Day tickets and Multi-rider tickets, giving discounted travel. The same tickets can be used on buses, trains and ferries.

All trains depart Perth from Wellington Street Station. For suburban transport hop on one of the Transperth trains run to Armadale, Fremantle, Midland and Joondalup from 5.20am - midnight during the week, with a limited service on the weekend.

The ferries in Perth travel between Barrack Street Jetty and Mends Street Jetty, everyday between 6.50am - 7.15pm.
