Sassafras Cafe serves modern Australian food - light lunch time fare, beautiful dinners on Friday and Saturday, delicious morning and afternoon teas and great breakfasts. The menu takes advantage of local seasonal produce such as stone fruit, figs, raspberries and apples. There are a number of seating alternatives, under the umbrellas in the front courtyard, by the fireplace in winter or on the back verandah in the late afternoon breeze. During the day come and enjoy a relaxed cafe ambience and at night take advantage of our more formal dining at a very reasonable price. We are also a function venue and can cater for your special occasions, whether an intimate dinner for two or a wedding, staff party, birthday or other celebration with sit down formal menu.
