fig22 at The Wheatsheaf Inn officially opened to the public on July 6 2011. The team at fig22 are a group of good friends and family led by Karen Roesler - respected chef and her husband Rob. Karen and Rob combine their passion for good food and wine with the comfortable surroundings of the historical Wheatsheaf Inn.

fig22 has the kind of decor and ambience that lets you know you're somewhere special without being intimidating. Two fireplaces frame the central dining room, tables are adorned with crisp linen napkins and sparkling glassware.

Our lunch menu varies weekly, plus we offer cheese plates, and soup in the cooler months plus Scullery Made Teas, Tobys Estate Coffee and Little Pretty Cakes.

Our dinner menu features wood fired gourmet pizza and tapas engineered to encourage enjoyment of good food and great company. We have a fantastic wine list complied with the help of good friend and sommelier Mat McNamara.

fig22 is open from Wednesday - Sunday for lunch, tea, coffee and cake from 11am - 4pm and wood fired gourmet pizza and tapas from 6pm. Bookings preferred to avoid disappointment.

The food is delicious and matched with some superb wines - but don't take our word for it - come and taste for yourself.
