The Flying Fish Cafe sits on the site of the old Horseshoe Bay Kiosk which served many a beach going holiday maker from it's inception in the 1960's.
It was bought and redeveloped in 1997 by winemaker Nigel Catt, who turned the aging kiosk into a popular south coast cafe with laid back seaside dining.
In 2001 Greg Trott of Wirra Wirra Winery bought the Flying Fish and extensively renovated the building to accommodate its new role as an exclusive fine dining establishment catering to local and visiting foodies.
The current owners - Jake Stephens and Courtney Christie - have successfully combined all three incarnations of the Flying Fish to create a visually stunning restaurant with a cutting edge menu side by side with the award winning Deck selling gourmet fish and chips in cones.
Flying Fish Restaurant and Cafe is located in Port Elliot, South Australia.
