The Black Swan is a fine dining restaurant - a surprising find, perhaps, in a small village most people have never heard of.
The restaurant is formal in its standards of service, with linen tablecloths and napkins and properly-attired staff. However, the ambience is casual and relaxed. We do not have a dress code as such, but patrons who are familiar with the antiquity of the place seem to feel comfortable dressed in a slightly more formal manner. The Swan is definitely a place for which you 'dress up' for the evening, rather than a drop-in, fast-food diner.
