Sticcado Cafe

Overview

The tourist town of Yarragon seemed a logical choice for a food outlet for our beef product. Since a drain was constructed around the town, about a century ago floods are a lot less likely. Tourism did not start in Yarragon until about 1975 when the Dunn family opened what is now ' Gippsland Food & Wine'.

A sticcado is a glass xylophone. Absolutely no connection with beef burgers or smoked beef. We chose this name because it was not common. We had numerous other things to deal with (make a decision and move on). After all music and food make good partners.
