Nestled admist the hills and orchards of picturesque Kurrajong Heights, Lochiel House is a heritage inn that blends brilliant modern Australian cuisine with old fashioned charm and comfort.
Lochiel House was built in 1825 by former convict Joseph Douglas. Originally named Ivy Lodge, it served as the first accommodation house in the area. Today, the inn retains all of its original rustic character, while delivering some of the finest Mod Oz/Asian-inspired cuisine in the area.
Scoring a coveted Chef's Hat in 2005, Lochiel House has gained a quiet reputation that has continued to grow since the house opened as an eatery in 1994.
