Originally, the building sat in an area of Flinders Lane
that homed Melbourne's best textile, hosiery & tailor
businesses.
It became a Chinese laundry until the 1950's when fire destroyed the building. In the late 1950's, The Swiss Club of Victoria acquired the building & rebuilt it.
More recently, we not only restored the interior & exterior to its original condition but we modernised the space giving the landscape extra charm and warmth.
