Angelo's House Restaurant is situated at 210 Herries Street, corner of Kenric Street, opposite beautiful Laurel Bank Park on the western city side of Toowoomba. Toowoomba is a picturesque town 1.5 hours drive along the Warrego Highway from Brisbane.
The original house, once owned by the McIntyre family was built around 1904. New extensions in keeping with the heritage style of the house were added in 1988. The restaurant, formally named Herries House, was sold in 2000 and repurchased in late 2004 and renamed Angelo's House on Herries.
