There
are plenty of diverse eating places all around the city, from
restaurants to food halls and snack bars. A large food
court can be found in Darling
Harbour, along with stylish restaurants serving a wide
range of types of food. For pub meals which are good but fairly
reasonable, visit one of the cafes or restaurants in The
Rocks. For a wide variety of foods and prices try Oxford Street, where you are
sure to find something for you. Kings
Cross offers mainly fast food and cafes, although does
host several top restaurants.

Chinatown
is also a great place to eat out, offering wonderful food
and dining, spreading outwards from Dixon Street. In Darlinghurst
the majority of cafes and restaurants are along Victoria
Street and Stanley Street, East Sydney.

For
some modern and trendy food outlets go to King Street in Newtown,
or a top eating area on Glebe Point Road, which is reasonable,
good quality and relaxed.
The
coastal resorts of Bondi, Coogee
and Manly offer some fast food places, but
also a growing number of cafes, which are now the place to hang
out.
