Visit the Kimba Historical Museum to see a reconstructed pioneer house, one-teacher school, blacksmith shop, telephone exchange and more.
From your very first entry to the museum, you've stepped back in time. The turnstile, that provides open access to the grounds, is a relic from the railway yard and leads to the admission area.
The museum collection includes photographs, maps and models, books in a study area, and tapes and films that have local significance. You can also see trucks, horse-drawn trolleys, wagons and harness, plus engines used to supply power for farms and households.
The pioneer shop is an example of the usual general store of about the 1920s with postal and telephone services.
