Historical Sites and Heritage Locations
There are five graves side by side at the entrance to Dalwallinu Cemetery.
These are the graves of Gus Leibe, his partner Albert Klein, and descendants Sydney Collins and his wife Hedward and their son Albert.
Gus Leibe was one of the outstanding characters of 1920 to 1930. Gus Leibe was the builder of His Majesty's Theatre in Perth, the Peninsula Hotel in Maylands and the Western Australian Art Gallery.
His life story is well worth reading.
