The Shepparton Art Museum has an active exhibitions program that includes curated, local community and touring exhibitions. There are three dedicated exhibition spaces for temporary exhibitions: the Community Gallery, Crawford Stewart Gallery and the foyer area of Eastbank including the Eastbank Café.
The Shepparton Art Museum proudly presents a permanent exhibition that tells the story of Australian Ceramics, in addition to the Art Museum's superb collection of Australian paintings and works on paper.
A significant aspect of Shepparton Art Museum's work is the biennial Sidney Myer Fund Australian Ceramics Award and the national Indigenous Ceramic Art Award.
The Shepparton Art Museum also has two exhibition spaces which are open for applications to exhibit.
The Shepparton Art Gallery will be closing from 1 May until the end of 2011 for major refurbishments to the lower and upper galleries.
