Aventine Wines' vineyards are situated on shallow weathered granite soils at Ballandean, in the heart of Queensland's' premier wine region, the Granite Belt. The vineyards are high altitude (approximately 1000 metres above sea level), north facing hillsides, and maximising exposure to the sun's warmth similar to Ancient Roman vineyards.
The vines are hand pruned, and the grapes are hand picked. The wines are crafted by hand and heart using traditional wine making involving minimal interference, and are an expression of the place where they are grown.
Apart from traditional wine styles, they also produce special non commercial styles and blends. Come and experience wines which are an expression of the place they are grown.
Attraction Opening Times
Note: Open seven days a week from 0900 to 1700, except Sunday with closing time of 1500.

Children are welcome in the gardens but close supervision is recommended.
