Adelaide Wineries

There are a range of wineries located in and around Adelaide. There is also a great selection of wine tours that travel from Adelaide to wineries in the Adelaide Hills, Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale and more.

Adelaide Hills is known for its wine, the most famous are found in Lenswood which is recognised for its Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling, the Piccadilly Valley, or Chain of Ponds which produces a fine Chardonnay.

The Barossa Valley is one of Australia's top wine growing regions. There are around 50 wineries in the region, with the majority being open to the public. It is well worth exploring the region and visiting several of the wineries as they all offer something slightly different.

McLaren Vale is also famous for its delicious wines. The main wineries can be found in Langhorne, Reynella (home to the first winery in 1838) and Willunga. There are about 45 wineries that you can visit in the area.
