FURTHER INFORMATION: I had taken my 11 year old son and his 3 school friends on a 4 night scooting trip to Lakes Entrance, which lies about 4 hours East of Melbourne.
On the final night, at the end of a long, fun filled day at the skateparks in the area, we ended up at the skatepark at Lakes Entrance, which is situated right next to the beach. The boys slipped off their shoes and shirts and took to the water where they played and laughed in the fading twilight and while one father was steeped in the moment.
Time stood still to capture the fun and the freedom enjoyed by 4 boys and a father on that holiday.
