FURTHER INFORMATION: Located on the Eyre Peninsula, SA, Port Augusta brings some of the most stunning sunsets on the water with the shimmering hills in the background. Regardless of which side of town you're on, the photogenic features are everywhere you look. The outback is only metres away from the calm water, and the green flora and native fauna cope with the dozens of people who flock to the beach every day.
This is just a lucky shot from my camera following a lovely beach walk at 7 o'clock in the evening. The photo does not do this sunset justice.
