Condamine
Condamine is home to the famous Condamine Bells and the location of a lovely host farm. The Condamine Bells, also known as Bullfrog Bells, were hung around the necks of working bullocks so that their owners could locate them. The size of the bell indicates how far away their sound could be heard. The fascinating story of the Condamine Bell can be read on a giant replica bell displayed in Bell Park at Condamine. It's interesting to note that wood from the old Condamine Bridge now adorns the walls of a hotel just down the road from Bell Park.
