The region between the Bemm River and the Victoria/New South Wales border is the Croajingolong National Park, made up of fabulous beaches and forest scenery.

There is a whole host of wildlife within the park, including many reptiles and large Goannas. Point Hicks is also within the park, which was the first point of Australia spotted by Captain Cook way back in the 1700's.

If you enjoy walking you should definitely follow the Wilderness Coast Walk. Although there are some camping areas with basic facilities you should carry your own water and supplies. Some of the main camping spots include Mueller Inlet, Shipwreck Creek, Thurra River and Wingon Inlet.
