PADI Open Water Course
Discover what lies beneath the sea! This 2-day PADI open water course marks the beginning of your scuba diving adventures. A team of professional instructors and assisting Dive Masters provide a superlative environment for attaining your license to dive up to 18 metres below the sea!
To become an Open Water Certified Scuba Diver you must complete three components, generally taught over 3 days. The 2-day course involves developing the knowledge behind scuba diving through home study via PADI's great new E-learning platform! No more long classroom sessions, you can now study at your own pace and complete quizzes and exams on your own time!
You will complete confined water dives in the heated onsite training pool under the supervision of your qualified PADI instructor. This component enables you to develop skills and procedures of safe diving and to become comfortable with diving techniques before heading out for your open-water dives.
Over the 2 days, you will complete four open water dives, including 1 boat dive, in Port Phillip Bay. Again you will practice skills learnt in the pool and begin your discovery of the amazing and diverse marine life of the underwater world. On completion of the course, you will be a PADI Open Water Certified Diver, with an Internationally recognised passport to dive around the world!
The Open Water Course includes:
