Southern Barossa Valley Chateau and Winery Tour
Visit the beautiful Barossa Valley, with its breathtaking architecture, amazing wines and a delicious lunch, this will be a day to remember.
We leave the ”˜City of Churches' behind us as we head north to the illustrious Barossa Valley – known the world over for its Shiraz and other fine wines of distinction. Our first stop is Chateau Tanunda in the heart of the Barossa valley.
Now, just down the valley is our second Chateau where you will be taken back to a time when life was very different. Witness first hand how these German people immigrated to Australia, to build a better life for themselves in South Australia, and in particular - the Barossa Valley!
One meticulous Chateau we visit contains some of the finest antiques collected in the southern hemisphere or indeed the world. You can roam the beautiful rose gardens, at your will.
Our gourmet lunch is served adjacent to the next Chateau. Afterwards, you have ample time for more tastings at the winery; perchance you'd prefer to indulge yourselves in a banquet of world class cheeses.
We still have time for one more winery, and the 'Whispering Wall' before our return.
You will visit a total of five cellar doors with tastings and ample time to purchase. Cellar doors may include Chateau Tanunda, Chateau Barrosa, Chateau Yaldarra (McGuigan Barossa), Kies Family Wines, Domain Day or TeAro Estate). These may change on the day due to circumstances beyond our control.
A new and rewarding experience is exposed at each Cellar Door! You will savour wines of distinction - the best of the Barossa Valley. These may include the home of the 1843 freedom Shiraz - Langmeils, or perhaps a tickle at Rockford or even a taste at Grant Burge. Maybe you'd fancy a drop at Penfolds. Whatever your desires are, it's all here in the beautiful Barossa. Relax and watch the Barossa Valley unfold before you, as you taste and tour in a luxury vehicle.
