Margaret River and Karri Forests Scenic Flight
Take a 45 minute scenic flight south along the Gold Coast of Western Australia and onto Margaret River, famous for its world class wines. Relax as you visit some of this prestigious wineries and such sights as the Lake Cave, the surfing coast and the Karri Forests. This tour offers you a great way to familiarise with some of the sights and flavours, for which Western Australia is famous.
Your tour begins with a 45 minute scenic flight along the coastal area of Western Australia. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the waves rolling into shore before you touch down in Margaret River. Famous for its production of quality wines, you will be taken on a tour of some of the region's most prominent wineries. After sampling the superb fragrances and flavours, you will have the opportunity to tour some of the area's other attractions.
The surrounding area of Margaret River is home to several hundred caves. You will have the chance to explore the depths of Lake Cave, one of only six caves open to the public. Next you will be able to experience the surfing coast of Western Australia, with a visit to state's scenic coastline. Go for a swim or simply take in the beautiful scenery before heading inland to the Karri Forests. Feel dwarfed by the towering trees as you take a relaxing tour through this native paradise. Once you have explored the inner depths of the woods you will return back to Perth for one last scenic flight.
There is also the option to extend your tour to include an afternoon on the idyllic holiday island of Rottnest, for a swim, walk or relax.
Alternatively, you can choose the Leeuwin for Lunch option, where we will fly you from Perth to a winery restaurant for lunch.
