2 Day Uluru and Kata Tjuta Tour
On this 2 day Ayers Rock (Uluru) Tour, see Alice Springs, Ayers Rock including a cultural walk, a camel farm, enjoy sunrise and sunset over Ayers Rock & Kata Tjuta. This is a great tour for anyone that is short on time but still wants to see the highlights of the Northern Territory.

Day 1: Alice Springs – Uluru (Ayers Rock)
Travelling south you'll stop to visit a camel farm where there is time for a short camel ride (own expense). Later stop to view Atila (Mt. Conner) often mistaken for Uluru, before arriving at Ayers Rock Resort. This afternoon travel to the mystical 36 domes of Kata Tjuta. On the way, stop at a lookout for a panoramic view of the southern side of Kata Tjuta. Continue to the base of Walpa Gorge. Spend some time exploring the gorge and the unusual conglomerate rock formations. The walking trail through the gorge follows the natural creek bed between two of the tallest domes of Kata Tjuta. Late afternoon, travel to the Uluru sunset viewing area. Witness and photograph the striking colour changes of Uluru at sunset while enjoying nibbles and complimentary wine.
Day 2: Uluru Sunrise and Base Tour – Alice Springs
Rise early to watch the first rays of the sun set the Red Centre alight while enjoying a warming cup of tea or coffee. Later, join your Guide for a drive around the base of Uluru. Travel by coach to the Mutitjulu Walk where you will be escorted to the beautiful Mutitjulu Waterhole. View Aboriginal rock paintings and learn about the area as your Driver Guide indicates some native flora and explains the Aboriginal and European history of Uluru. Visit the Uluru – Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. This afternoon travel to Alice Springs, where your Short Break concludes.

You can select to upgrade the Uluru Sunrise and Base Tour to the Rising Sun Aá¹‰angu Aboriginal Experience. Once you've taken in the breathtaking sunrise, you'll then travel to the Uluá¹Ÿu – Kata Tjuá¹¯a Cultural Centre. Along the way, your experienced Guide will describe the geology of Uluá¹Ÿu, local flora and fauna, as well as provide an insight into the colourful history of the local people, the Aá¹‰angu. On arrival, you'll have time to wander through the Cultural Centre and learn about the significance of Uluá¹Ÿu – Kata Tjuá¹¯a National Park as well as the many stories and legends of the Aá¹‰angu people. You can also browse through the Aboriginal art galleries on site and afterwards we'll enjoy a sumptuous breakfast at the Ininti Café with Uluá¹Ÿu as your stunning backdrop.
