Bungle Bungle Explorer Full Day Tour
Join us for a grand adventure of the World Heritage-listed Purnululu National Park. It is one of Western Australia's most unique areas and the ultimate location for an outback adventure. During our adventure we will fly from Broome to Fitzroy Crossing, Bungle Bungle (Purnululu National Park), Windjana Gorge and then back to Broome. Everybody gets a window seat so remember to bring your camera as there will be plenty of photo opportunities!
Flying to the Bungle Bungle Range we pass some of the best Kimberley attractions including the mighty Fitzroy River and King Leopold Ranges.
On arrival at the Bungle Bungle (Purnululu National Park) we over-fly the entire massif with its stirking orange striped and bee-hive shaped rock formations. After landing at the airstrip, we transfer to a 4WD vehicle and drive to Cathedral Gorge, where lunch is served alongside a natural pool in the aptly named cathedral-style cavern (Sure footed and reasonable fitness required for this 3km return walk).
Departure from the Bungle Bungle is around 2.30pm with the return journey taking a different route flying over the Kimberley's ancient Devonian Reef and Windjana Gorge. The flight arrives in Broome approximately 5.30pm.
