American Smoking BBQ Cooking Class in Sydney - Cooking ClassesTake a hands on American smoking BBQ class and learn about the four main BBQ regions of the United States and the differences between them. Explore techniques such as smoking with charcoal and the “low and slow” method to produce mouth watering, fall off the bone meat every time you BBQ!

Combine your love of American style smoking and BBQ cooking in this class, with the objective to better understand the “low and slow” method of cooking and drawing on the traditional methods, ingredients and choice of wood used for smoking on your BBQ from Texas to Memphis to Carolina and Kansas. You will shown tips on rubs, timing, and temperatures and of course the perfect techniques and accompaniments.

On arrival of you cooking class, you will be provided with a cold beer and an apron before being welcomed by your Chefs for the day. They will outline expected competencies from the session, discuss the format of the day and introduce the menu.

You will then as a group start creating the first course, after an initial demonstration, all participants will get involved in the production and Barbecuing process. Once completed you will sit and eat your first first creations, matched with a craft beer. Next, embark on creating salads and sides for your meats. It's now time to carve and serve the meats and sit and enjoy. Of course you will be offered a premium craft beer to go with the meat.
