Meet the famous Tasmanian Devils and get up close and personal with the native wildlife at the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary. Handfeed Kangaroos, pat the koalas and watch the Tassie Devils at feeding time! We give you maximum time to visit the park – 2 hours and 15 minutes!
Visitors to Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary we depart knowing and loving our native animals even more. The guided tours conducted by the passionate and knowledgeable staff are so informative yet fun. You will meet the Tasmanian Devils and watch them being fed, pat a Koala and discover how they are related to the Wombat.
At Bonorong you will see a number of species that are sadly now extinct everywhere but Tasmania. They include the Tasmanian Devil, the Eastern Quoll, the Tasmanian Pademelon and the shy Tasmanian Bettong. These four marsupial species have made their last stand Tasmania and other marsupials sadly are at risk of joining that list.
On arrival you are given a bag of feed and are free to feed the kangaroos and wallabies. The photo opportunities are amazing. This is a great tour for all wildlife lovers, see all the animals in one place where they are truly loved and cared for.
