Travelling through the Central West of NSW

I must share with my travel companions about our trip through the Central West of NSW. We travelled from Melbourne to Brisbane on the in land route which proved to be very scenic dispite what people say about travelling in land as boring. Tha mountains were beautiful and the little towns on the way were so clean and well set out. It was a pleasure to travel without the burden of heavy traffic experienced on the coastal routes.

The little town of Gilgandra sticks in my mind as an overnights stay at the Three Ways Motel. We stayed in room 2 a luxury queen room and only payed $95. Tina on receiption was so lovely and helped us with the tourist attractions in the town. She rang the Services Club who pick us up for a beautiful meal and return us back to the Motel and we did not have to pay a red cent for the travel. Please dont miss this little town on the way through as it is worth it. I still have the Motels business card for further reference. For those interested you can book on their web site for a receiption price. The rest of the trip to Brisbane was again scenic and very little traffic to stress you out. I might add the roads were good enough where you can take you good car on with out stone chips to worry about. All in all a very relaxing journey.

Happy travelling,
