Has anyone worked 8 hours a day (online) while travelling Australia?
This is my first post :)
We are planning a trip around Australia (family of 5). My husband is a draftsman and can do his work from anywhere as long as he has his computer & internet. He is planning on working normal 8 hour days ( he can choose to take some time off during the day and make it up at night after kids are in bed).
I'm a primary school teacher and will be homeschooling the kids (9,6,4).
Our biggest worry is how my husband will cope working fairly normal hours while having the kids around all day. I was wondering if there are other families who had to work 40 hours a week while travelling with kids.
My plan is to stick to a routine of 2 hours schoolwork in the mornings and then I'd take the kids out for 2-3 hours to explore.
Any tips, advice, similar experiences?

Hi sounds fantastic
are you australian
if so I don't need to remind you about avoiding the hot season and wet season up north
I am a teacher also and many of the families I have taught did this
Each family different, many families do the tours and things in morning and comeback for a quiet afternoon in camp to do their school work
But everyone different, I am sure you will find your own routine
Don't forget to think about phone coverage and internet coverage, telstra probably best in Country WA and NT
