Gold Creek is situated 11 kilometres north west of Canberra close to the Barton Highway.
The National Dinosaur Museum is here hosting various skeletons and fossils worth seeing. If you are brave enough you can also visit the snakes at the Australian Reptile Centre.
Close by you can visit the pretty craft fairs and galleries of Ginninderra Village, and the miniature English village of Cockington Green.
