Goodwood Island is in between the main channel of the Clarence River and the river's north Arm in New South Wales, Australia.
It has a large wharf at the Port of Yamba where ocean traders collect cargo to take to the locations of New Zealand, Lord Howe Island and Norfolk Island.
Turn off the Iluka Road at Woombah Coffee Plantation to Goodwood Island. Picnic on the banks of the almighty Clarence River or throw in a line at one of the best fishing grounds on the river.
