Greenwell point is a fishing village situated 15 km east of Nowra on the estuary of the Crookhaven River. A small fishing fleet operates from Greenwell Point. There are oyster farms on the Crookhaven River. Fresh fish and oysters are available.
There are a number of boat ramps : West Street (concrete) all boats; Greenwell Point Road (concrete) all boats; Haiser Road (natural) light boats. There also a number of picnic areas: at the reserve near the wharf, Gordon Ravell Reserve on Greens Road, Anzac Park restaurants.
