Rocky Plain is located in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is around 450 kilometres from Sydney.
The Berridale Rocky Plain area extends from the highway between Cooma and Jindabyne west to Kosciuszko National Park, as far north as Lake Eucumbene and south to Dalgety and the Snowy River.
The area is primarily open grassland which is mostly grazed with sheep but includes a large number of small acreages.
The locality of Rocky Plains is just a crossroads now with no facilities.
