Situated approximately eight kilometres out of Bundaberg towards Gin Gin is the small town of Sharon.
The Sharon Gorge is a further four kilometres along the highway, and is home to a tranquil area with rainforests, ferns, palms and orchids, a walkway leads down to the Burnett River and presents many opportunities for a pleasant stroll.
You can have nature based experiences in the area such as animal viewing and bushwalking.
Nearby Bundaberg is a great place to visit and have relaxing swim or stroll on the beach.
