Heading south from Tweed Heads, follow the Pacific Highway and take the Tweed Valley Way exit for Tourist Drive 40 to see spectacular views of the majestic Mt Warning, against a backdrop of the beautiful Tweed River, scenic farmland and the sugar cane fields.
On your left is Stotts Island Nature Reserve with a picnic area and interpretive centre. Following the river on your right is a growers market and the turn off to the historic village of Tumbulgum with lovely river views, boat hire and the historic Tumbulgum Hotel.
