Binjour Plateau is a very small farming area, with a primary school, agriculture and cattle. At the top of the plateau is a rest area. The area was opened up by German immigrants in 1910 and was a German settlement.
Binjour Plateau is located between Mundubbera and Gayndah, directly West of Maryborough. The drive from Maryborough takes roughly two and a half hours covering approximately 170 kilometres.
