Wilsons Promontory National Park is also known as the 'Prom', and marks the southern most point of mainland Australia. There are some spectacular beaches around the park and some fabulous walking trails to explore.
The only road leading into the park takes you to Tidal River which has a selection of accommodation, a servo, a shop and other facilities. There are also bush camping areas around the National Park, although you should take your own supplies and water.
There are various different walks around the park from short 1 hour walks to a few days walking trails. Most of the walks are in the southern hemisphere section of the National Park, with only advanced walks in the northern section. For more details about bushwallking around the National Park and to find out about current fire regulations you should contact the park office in Tidal River Ph: 1800 350 552.
