The three main airline companies offering flights around Australia are Qantas Airlines, Virgin Australia and Regional Express (REX). For International visitors, if you are willing to be flexible, then you can often find some reasonable deals on internal flights. The major airlines may offer special deals for students under 26 who can receive upto 25% off of a full economy fare, backpackers on presentation of a backpacking organisation card such as the YHA, and other international travellers who can receive upto 30% off of a full economy fare for presenting / providing their international ticket details at the time of booking their internal flights.
